Attic Insulation Installation in Santa Monica, CA

At ELM Insulation and Sound Solutions, we recently completed an attic insulation installation project in Santa Monica, CA. The homeowner’s attic still had its original insulation from when the house was built.

It was outdated, inefficient, and no longer providing adequate comfort or energy savings. Along with replacing the insulation, we also installed new air duct vents to improve airflow and boost HVAC efficiency throughout the home.

The Concern

This Santa Monica home still had the original attic insulation from decades ago. It had deteriorated, was no longer effective, and allowed heat to escape in the winter and enter in the summer.

The Solution

Our team removed the old insulation and installed modern, energy-efficient fiberglass batt insulation throughout the attic. Each batt was fitted precisely between joists and around obstacles to ensure full coverage and maximum efficiency.

In addition, we installed new air duct vents to improve airflow. This upgrade helped the HVAC system distribute conditioned air more evenly, boosting both comfort and system performance.
