New Attic Insulation Installation

Attic Energy Upgrade & Insulation Renewal

Attic Insulation Installation in Pasadena, CA

At ELM Insulation and Sound Solutions, we recently completed an attic insulation installation project in Pasadena. The attic’s existing blown-in insulation had become dirty, compressed, and less effective over time, reducing its ability to properly regulate indoor temperatures and support overall energy efficiency.

Our team removed the old insulation and installed new fiberglass batt insulation throughout the attic to provide improved thermal performance, better coverage, and long-lasting energy-saving benefits for the home.

ELM Insulation and Sound Solutions did a fantastic job upgrading our attic insulation. The crew worked efficiently, cleaned everything up, and our home feels much more comfortable throughout the day.

The Concern

The attic contained aging blown-in insulation that had accumulated dirt and lost much of its original effectiveness, making it more difficult for the home to maintain consistent indoor temperatures and energy efficiency.

As insulation performance declined, the HVAC system had to work harder to keep the home comfortable, leading to reduced efficiency and less reliable temperature control throughout the property.

The Solution

Our experienced crew began by removing the old blown-in insulation and preparing the attic for a complete insulation upgrade.

We then installed new fiberglass batt insulation throughout the attic, carefully fitting each section between framing members to create dependable thermal protection and uniform coverage.

The new insulation system was designed to help improve energy efficiency, reduce heat transfer, and provide lasting performance throughout every season while supporting more consistent indoor comfort.

The Result

The upgraded attic now delivers improved thermal performance, better comfort, and enhanced energy efficiency for the entire home. The homeowner immediately benefited from a cleaner attic environment and more consistent indoor temperatures after the project was completed.

With the old insulation removed and new fiberglass batt insulation professionally installed, the home is better equipped to reduce energy loss and maintain comfortable living conditions throughout the year.
