At ELM Insulation and Sound Solutions, we recently completed a new home insulation project in Chatsworth. This newly constructed property required a complete insulation system designed for energy efficiency, indoor comfort, and sound control, helping prepare the home for long-term performance and everyday living.

Our team worked closely with the builder to install fiberglass batt insulation throughout the ceilings and exterior walls while also adding Rockwool sound insulation in select interior wall sections to help reduce sound transfer between rooms.

The insulation work came out excellent. ELM worked directly with our builder, stayed on schedule, and made sure every section of the home was insulated properly for both comfort and noise reduction.

The Concern

The new construction home required a complete insulation system before drywall installation, including thermal insulation for energy efficiency and sound insulation for improved indoor privacy throughout the property.

Without properly installed insulation, the home could experience unnecessary energy loss, inconsistent indoor temperatures, and increased sound transfer between bedrooms, hallways, and living areas.

The Solution

Our experienced insulation crew coordinated directly with the builder to install a full insulation system throughout the new home.

We installed fiberglass batt insulation throughout the ceilings and exterior walls, carefully fitting each section to maximize coverage, airflow control, and long-term thermal performance.

In addition, we installed Rockwool sound insulation throughout selected interior wall cavities to help reduce sound transmission and improve indoor comfort between rooms and shared living spaces.
