The Concern

Our inspection also revealed numerous small openings across the attic floor where conditioned air could escape into the attic. These gaps reduced the effectiveness of the insulation and contributed to unnecessary energy loss.

The Solution

Our experienced team began by removing the old insulation and preparing the attic for a complete insulation upgrade.

We then completed targeted air sealing by installing expanding foam plugs throughout small penetrations around wiring, plumbing, and other attic openings. These air sealing plugs help prevent conditioned air from escaping into the attic while improving the overall effectiveness of the new insulation system.

Once the attic was fully prepared, we installed new fiberglass batt insulation throughout the attic, providing consistent thermal coverage to improve comfort, reduce energy loss, and support better HVAC performance.
