The Concern

The Solution

Our skilled crew began by carefully removing the existing drywall and outdated insulation to fully expose the wall cavities and address sound transmission at its source.

We then installed mass loaded vinyl (MLV) insulation along with new insulation to create an effective sound barrier. Unlike standard insulation, MLV adds dense mass to the wall assembly, which helps block sound waves rather than just absorbing them. New rockwool insulation also complements this by absorbing residual sound energy within the cavity.

Together, these materials work far better than traditional insulation alone, reducing both airborne noise and vibration transfer.

New drywall was installed over the upgraded system, completing a high-performance soundproofing solution for this Bellflower home.
