Attic Insulation and Radiant Barrier Install in Agoura Hills, CA

At ELM Insulation and Sound Solutions, we recently completed an attic insulation and radiant barrier installation project in Agoura Hills. The Concern

The Solution

Our experienced crew began by removing the old attic insulation and preparing the attic for a complete insulation upgrade.

We then installed new fiberglass batt insulation throughout the attic, providing even thermal coverage that helps slow heat transfer between the attic and the living spaces below.

To further improve attic performance, we installed a radiant barrier system beneath the roof decking.

Unlike insulation, which slows the movement of heat, a radiant barrier reflects radiant heat away from the attic before it can build up, helping the new insulation work even more effectively while reducing attic temperatures.

The Result
